These days, much of the traditional Southeast Asia destinations have become transit points to get to the quieter, less known towns, villages, islands and beaches. This applies to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines all of which we have travelled extensively to in the past couple of decades.
