Directed by Anthony Besch; Designed by John Stoddart; Conducted by Thomas Schubach; Lyric Opera of Queensland Consulting Director: Antony Jeffrey; Stage Managed by Toby Simkin and Speciality Wardrobe Decoration by Beverley Anne Jansen.

STARRING Rita Hunter (Leonora), John Shaw (Count di Luna) and Margreta Elkins (Azucena).

Two enemies, passionate and vengeful; an old gypsy woman with a mysterious bond to them both, and a passionate young woman who must either betray an all-consuming love or face death itself – these are the fiery elements that govern Giuseppe Verdi’s unforgettable masterpiece of obsession, madness and retribution.
