Dudley Moore Gala (Carnegie Hall)

Associate Producer for Tony Adams & Blake Edwards of DUDLEY MOORE: A MAN OF ALL SEASONS gala event at Carnegie Hall on April 16, 2001, to honor and celebrate Dudley Moore with a host of friends.

Julie Andrews and Michael Caine served as honorary chairs for the event.

Man of All Seasons” participants included Chevy Chase, Lauren Bacall, Amy Irving, Mary Tyler Moore, Jill Eikenberry, Ann Reinking, John Ritter, Bo Derek, Tony Randall, Anne Runolfsson, John Dankworth & Cleo Laine and Barbara WaltersJohn Cleese and Robin Williams created taped video segments.  Monty Python’s Eric Idle joined Saturday Night Live’s Jimmy Fallon in recreating the one-legged Tarzan sketch Moore used to do with his late comic partner, Peter Cook.

Musicians included Robert Mann (violin) Miranda Cuckson (violin) Toby Appel (viola), Joel Dallow (cell0), Chevy Chase (piano) and Mark Hummel (piano).

The cast of Broadway’s BLAST! played Ravel’s “Bolero.”
